WELCOME TO THE SCOTT CHOATE PROJECT!
Scott Choate is a California based playwright, author, producer and songwriter, and proud member of The Dramatists Guild, Orange Coast Playwrights Studio (OCPS), Playwrights' Center of San Francisco (PCSF), Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights (ALAP) and ASCAP.
Sometimes seriously, sometimes with humor, but always provocatively, Scott draws upon his inspirations: a sense of social justice honed during the turbulent sixties in Ohio, 37 years of marriage to the love of his life, his awe at the miracle of his son’s premature birth and growth into a successful and happy young professional married to the love of his life.

Scott's new, three-act comedy play, MAPS premiered in November, 2023. In 2023, Scott is working on a new one-act comedy, and plans to continue producing.
